 1837 as a private, independent

militia company and today is a   

 non-profit organization dedicated

to preserving our historic armory,  

 supporting our armed forces

and advancing the military heritage of Greater Cleveland.

Grays to celebrate 169th anniversary

Cleveland Grays, founded in 1837, will gather to celebrate their 169th anniversary at the Cleveland Grays Founders Day Dinner at 7 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2006.
Doors will be open at 6:00 p.m. and there will be a cash bar.

The dinner will be catered by The New York Spaghetti House. The dinner is $20 per person and $35 for a couple. Reservations are required and may be made by contacting Mike Marcellino, Adjutant, at grays1837@yahoo.com or 216-621-5938.
 

Our speaker for the Founders Day Dinner will be Captain Giles Norrington, U. S. Navy (Retired). CPT Norrington, a U. S. Navy pilot in the Vietnam War, was shot down on his 22nd combat mission, captured and held by the North Vietnamese as a prisoner of war for five years.
